'99
was a problematic year..it was almost the end of the orange
as the police got tough. Our freeparties were shut down
before they began and we were manhandled out of our collapsing
legal venue. Desert like wilderness began as we spent almost
half a year trying to find a place to call home. Leicester
turns out to be a costly mistake, Birmingham and Warped
become our saviour.

The
night packed out as usual and everybody refused to
go home....
....Which was nice...
The Police kept a careful eye on us and we all behaved
like gentlefolk and they sodded off again.
.... Which was nice....
But then they shut our club down.

Orange regroup, land, and take on all of Leicester...And
if this was anything to go by it`ll do nicely.
Lots
of strange people turn up. Some of them expect something
else. But they get the hang of it eventually.....

The
Orange invasion hasn`t quite won Leicesters more wary
dancer/trancer. Numbers were up on the last gig. But
Perhaps Leicesters not the town for us? The night
goes well and all present enjoy it. But the small
presence make the night not as Full on.. as it could
have been

in the place.. We leave the Lager in Wolvs and a different
crowd come to see whats so special with the Orange
people

little more forward planning from the crew sees the
place fill up and the gig goes extremely well.

Orange Peel storms through a great set and Adrenaline
retaliates with a blinder.
The
party pumps, the place jumps, the police notice and
we advised not to do it again by the police or it will
all end in tears.....Arse...Arse... Arse...

our not so great run on the club front we keep it
real by having a suprise party, a couple of false
starts lead to this event.... we announce the details
only 3 hours before the event and we still manage
to have approx 300 smiling happy party-goers attend..
