Well in honour of the greatest weekly real newspaper in this surreal world ~ schnews.org ~ (and in a nod of the head gesture of recognition to our seemingly lackadaisical, yawny awakening into this the year of the two's) we (well I) have collectively (…unilaterally) decided to pay homage by naming this here little ol' newsletter of ours Schnewsletter for the duration of this the great year of the two's !!
Ta Daa. Thankyou …thankyou very much….(the Presley voice over please).
Anyway - woteva - if you're reading this you can certainly peruse The Schnews! And that's what 2K2 is really gonna be about for us ~ a bit of a return to older, truer values as far as the club nights go (fewer ~ not necessarily in the same venue or locality ~ making more of an event of it) and looking to get us all back out there again this (can't wait gonna be great…) Summer with a sorted and planned weekender….or two… but a bit more on that later.

Right I'm not going to say a lot 'cause I cant remember any of it, apart from we're out of the depot club (which is now a Beer Keller ~ tribute bands can u believe?…) and out of this here city of Wolverhampton for our 1st club gig of 2002 rearing our heads over at the Sanctuary - digbeth b'ham, come Fri 5th April. There's 500 advance tickets out there in da shops (check the flier) with Piranah Records acting as sole outlet for the Wolverhampton lot (I believe they'll also be keeping the booking fee down to a bright n shiney 50 pence piece) so don't delay buy today (sorry but I just had to say it). All the info is on the enclosed flier so I wont bother doing the repeat thang...

The Sanctuary will see us bringing back in all the old inspiration and innovation with fire performances, large scale projection, mother of all multicolour lasers (ref. Bulldog Bash dance tent last year…but still tbc) also live pa./band Dries & Casie bringing a difference to the beginning of the night performing a live warm up set an hour or so into the night proper (on at 11pm doors having opened at 10). The music in the main arena will, as ever, proceed to keep on coggin' it up till we're all explodin' come 6am - KaBooom!! with the usual hi calibre drum and bass alter ego of Aura O. most certainly doing its thang as TUNA there in the Temple and for your relaxing pleasure the Dragon Bar will be offering its chilled and laid back atmos for your restos… Ummh.

This will be our only club gig till we hit our 6th b'day bash sometime end of June though we will look to go the whole hog in the outdoor stakes and take full advantage of Ma'ms Jubilee celebrations with an outdoor weekender scheduled for the 1st weekend in June (Sat 1st thro' Bank Holiday Monday 3rd) - not the end of May as printed on the enclosed flier. So keep 'em peeled & if we haven't dropped you a line by then the site (www.auraorange.net) is usually a good one to check around&abouts the time. Good Great Lovely Smashin. Fab!

So there you have it - a plain and simple schnewsletter to inform you all that ..yes we are all still alive n kickin' and more so have taken a bit of time out to re-jig a few things with Aura O. to get back to those Full On.. Flat Out… Fall Over.. moments we all so know, love and want loads more of ! You know it makes sense and personally I'd buy anything for a dollar.
