Aura Orange ~ Newsletter No.26 July 2001

The Aura Orange Outdoor Party will now be FREE and on SATURDAY 7th
JULY ~ for directions call 07970 306 610 on Saturday 7th July or check
the Web on the day. (see rest of newsletter for details)

Welcome to the Summer guys !! And for the first time in the history of
the Aura Orange Newsletter, it ain’t gonna be a long one; newsletter
that is …Ooh err ..don’t know whether that’ll do..
O.K. first things first, the outdoor party is definitely on. The only
difference being that we cannot do a full weekender with camping ‘n’
all. The original farmland has unfortunately fallen through. But not to
worry, we’ve decided to relocate to another site and condense it down
into one night of Full On FREE Party madness. Yee Haa… No landowner to pay
means not having to charge for parking and of course the obligatory
‘lining of proverbial pockets’ ! We will however hope that all you good
folk out there will have your best donations head on and look out for
the buckets – after all we still have generators to sort, lighting to lug
in and people to pay off…
Directions will be posted on the Web site (auraorange.co.uk) as will
the above number from 7pm Saturday. Enough to say that the site is within
35 miles of Wolverhampton and is very accessible through the motorway
network,.

Other Business…
Our 5th Birthday Party at the Canal Club back on Fri June 8th in many
ways was a great success with ‘nuff people getting back to us with rave
reports and genuine thanks for the night itself. However, and this is a
pretty big however, there were some very worrying incidents involving
the Door Staff there. Given that we are due to be back at the Canal
Club on Fri Sept. 7th with our Torture Garden tour and CD launch night it
doesn’t leave for a very good taste in the mouth (no innuendos
please…). Don’t Panic though we have been assured by the Canal Club owners and
management that the club is due to close it’s doors (following their
last night there this Friday 29th June when Stealth play host to
MetalHeadz) and undergo a complete refurb, re-opening in September with a
completely new layout a new bar (spanning the Canal nonetheless!), new dance
floor (bigger) and shiny new DJ area (ummh) and New Cooler Headed
Security. So please don’t let any of what went on put you off what will be a
rocket fuelled and certainly ‘avin’ it event come Fri Sept. 7th (and
remember this will be a 10 – 6am finish).
Other info…
Fluffy will be holding a DJ Competition open to all, details available
from www.thehardstuff.co.uk , or from Piranha Records, 12 Salop St.
W-ton. (07944 915 689).

Remember the rhyme …if you go out in the woods to play…. C U there ~
